Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

What the

Why are TMs and LDAs and “Managers” acting like university types amd high school principals amd teachers rather than working Managers & leaders.

The whole model is weird and propaganda Managers now? It’s not good or best practice or business.

If they actually worked rather the. Try to be counselors and gurus and graders and nonsense metric jerks to look like big shot “leaders”

It’s all strange - it’s like we are treated like children in school. It’s demeaning and self promoting and we don’t need “teachers”. If you have half a brain in systems. We are not all young graduates or kids. We are adults. And already “inclusive”.

Exhausting brainwashing. Waste of business resources.

What do HR liaisons do anyway besides promote this stuff.

Your mind is not your own. The TM owns you. You are powerless, surrender or face the Orwellian Monster.

It's all about power and control over you. Limit your freedom to articulate your thoughts. Group think. They believe you are unable to be inclusive so they can label you and put you in the spot they picked. It's all about control.

It's a show. It's all image. It's all about control over you. It's the Orwellean game they play. They think they are better than you, smarter than you, and deserve more than you. While they're brainwashing you, inside they are rotting from not believing in what they do. ....

I think there are more than a few managers that do believe in what they do and thoroughly enjoy the supposed power they think they have over you, and when they find someone that believes their manager is all that and a bag of chips the manager will exploit that person until they are just one big stress ball. Thing is, you have to stand up to them and control them right back. Call them out on their bull cr-p, don't let them walk all over you. Demand proof if they made an allegation that you messed up, demand proof. Make em prove it.

Without INCLUSION, DIVERSITY is non existent! Very Simple! That includes race, gender, politics, or anything under the canopy of heaven for that matter. The rest is cr-p!

I’m a g-y first generation American. State Farm’s “diversity” push is offensive, fake and damaging. Had a manager look me in the eye and ask me why I hadn’t attended any diversity meetings and told me that it’s important to be an ally.

Bi--h, I’m literally the people these stupid meetings are supposed to be teaching you to embrace.

It’s all bu-----t so State Farm can pretend it’s a decent company. In reality, it’s pi----g everyone off and actively hurting their own employees. But say anything and you get labeled as a bigot. I’m literally g-y, but somehow I’m also anti-g-y. It’s like inception.

As an employee and person with an extremely diverse background and ethnicity and family and history and orientation I don’t agree with any of this either. Very divisive and categorizing and force feeding propaganda messages and narrative.

Choreographed “leadership” and lotsa money being wasted. The daily message bird is overwhelming and clearly one sided calling it “diversity and inclusion”

It’s a shame

This site is great for laughs, not much in the way of facts or information but really funny. I especially like the multiple versions of my feelings got hurt or every management person is mean, or the company is failing miserably-too funny.

Let’s assume for a moment that they have job descriptions and performance reviews. So they’re doing the job they’re asked to do, even if snowflake disapproves.

While they're brainwashing you, inside they are rotting from not believing in what they do. It's all a really sad state of affairs. Listen to what they say and look at what they do. Total opposite! It's really hard to see until you get away and really think about it. Remember, they are politicians and we all know what we think about politicians.
