Remove folks who have no business being in this business as they lack the knowledge, experience, and expertise. It is scary that many of these folks are making big decisions and micromanaging people they shouldn’t be.

Meraki is one of the brightest areas in the company. Consistent growth. Generally lower costs. Very diverse and highly functional team. Good culture and morale. Posterchild for the Cisco brand. Can't imagine cuts there. Other areas certainly need help. Meraki...I highly doubt there will be any significant impact there, unless someone making that call is seriously clueless. You don't ki-l the golden goose.

You go after areas with overlap...Anything overlapping with Splunk should probably be looked at closely. Meraki does not overlap with Splunk at all.

If I were an executive at Cisco, which I am not, I would be cutting senior leadership in businesses that have been falling behind (ahem DCN, EN) and promoting people with high potential or cross promoting from businesses that are growing to get some real leaders into roles where it's needed.

If you're a middle aged white dude you better start using different pronouns & strap on a couple of DDs.

Many rumors
All Services = give that to all Cisco Partners instead of Cisco doing this
Specific Technologies that are not profitable - there are many
Here is what is safe: Incompetent Sr and Exec leadership that have been destroying the company for the last 4 years, witch hunt people they don't like based on Social Justice ideology.

I suspect majority in CX. All the changes to that org recently signal a big change up.

ACI, Nexus, UCS, and Data Center CX and sellers are heavily on chopping block. Cisco is loosing market share and less need for these products, software and services.

Enterprise and heavy cuts in SP are forecasted. Many managers and directors need to go to lighten up this heavy ship with too much overhead and garbage.

All BUs are impacted in a company layoff
some more than others like webex, appd, outshift, cx are obvious

Meraki is safe, it was already trimmed slightly last go around and now it's merging with EN to form Cisco Networking

I can tell you it's yet another random LR. Directors were asked to provide names of potential candidates. No strategy, no cutting of entire divisions. Nope, just sprinkle LRs everywhere and see what happens. This ELT is really r3tard3d.

SAM org should go

Our channel is already bloated with graduates and overlays

Zero incremental revenue from the SAMs
In some region their presence actually impacted T2 business

More people less revenue generated

You now have portfolio sellers in the upmarket
It is harder to train a meraki rep to do what an AM does than it is to train an AM to do what a Meraki rep does
