@jg I'm sorry to hear. The shiny no layoff veneer has been shattered.
@OP warn notices doesn't apply if layoffs are less than 500 or 33% of site.
Cpchem layoffs will hit tomorrow. I will be one of those. Yes the new building with all of its over the top amenities make it a hard pill to swallow after many years of service.

@OP That notice is for Chevron. Most likely related to its Hess transaction. I see no evidence of it being related to CP Chem.
