Just let go

Remote exception request was denied last Friday (even though I was full time WFH for past five years). Then today I was let go

STS award winner

Exceeded expectations four of last five year

Two promotions in five years

Devastated right now. I have everything to this firm. Feeling betrayed and lied to.

STS folks you have my sympathies. Already overworked and overwhelmed, it looks like you all will be asked to do even more to make up for the layoff numbers.

STS is all of development IT for all schwab products. I&O is IT infrastructure operations under Simon.

@1jpe+1nHm5KiJ CTS is the client phone facing technical support team. STS is basically internal IT from what I understand. Network/Server/System admin type roles.

I think the OP was just denied WFH, not laid off.

Bravo to you OP, I have never gotten an exceeds in all the years i have been here and i have busted my a-s in STS. I have also been remote for the past 5 years and was denied.
