Of course, why would we expect Follett to have their sh-t together and have the new openings posted this morning? Lord forbid HR and the higher ups would work a little late yesterday to ensure they were posted first thing this morning.

I 100% believe RMs had a big part in this. My RM has their favorites and I guarantee they didn't get demoted or a pay cut. It was blatantly obvious who the favorites were. I guess if you want to get ahead in this company you need to leave your self respect at the door, be prepared to never say no, and bring plenty of chapstick for your constant a** kissing.
I’d find it hard to believe that RMs were not involved in who was kept and who was cut (my CMMM meeting had enough “best of the best” comments to imply that there was a lot of discussion on the matter, and RMs know their region best).
I remember when even small stores had a full time cashier, a full time ct person and mgr. We cut full time cashiers, then next cut was full time ct..now mgr..that's the last of us. All I can say is good luck to anyone d-mb enough or stuck enough to have to take those jobs. They appear to be created to fail. I will be watching to see how many contracts this causes the company to lose because I won't be part of it.
Crazy .RM hiding. Stated clearly accept or if they did not hear from you declined by March 27th.email baldy bone for clarification

They didn’t say they didn’t know who was offered a role, they said they didn’t know if someone accepted or rejected the new role unless the employee told them.
@tfa+1lRk96NR: They KNEW! They signed a NDA a few weeks ago. They are FOS if they say otherwise.
@lsb+1lRk96NR: That's a LIE. RM's had a part in who stayed and who was being let go.
Might NOT be - just a partial untruth. Some RM's might and some might not.
I'll bet some RM were blind sided too. JRC is about profit, not feelings.
James Family not going to be made to look like failures. Like the Folletts, they like playing big shots.

Why would anyone that has been laid off apply to a new position with more task, less money, no job security?? What they are paying for Manager replacements you can make the same at most hourly positions for just customer service.
I heard that as of this morning the RMs didn't know who was leaving or staying, unless the employee told them. So no surprise that the jobs aren't posted.
Not surprising since they didn't seem to have a big plan for the layoffs last week. They could have notified the SM's the sh-t was gonna hit the fan. They did get those letters typed and the mass attachments though. Last layoff (November 2019) they had the severance letters ready to go for signatures so imagine my surprise not to see it included. I guess they are expecting some of us to apply for these new jobs that aren't available. :-0
No thanks, Follett. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Maybe half the people in Corp HR were laid off?
For the Greater PROFIT of JRC!
Amen!
Laughing my you know what off at this. Par for the course though with this company.
