CHIP/CLIP/3PET

The new CHIP/CLIP systems being implemented in Claims are clunky, cumbersome, and have slowed down my ability to work efficiently. I don't believe it is a matter of adjusting and learning the new systems as some of the problems include; multiple windows opening from click (so I have to constantly close what is not needed/rearrange my screen), the slow down in the forms & core funtionality is significant (I could go into a lot of detail about this, but won't), and the slowness/ cumbersomeness of 3PET(don't get me started). My point is I am being asked to work harder, faster, more efficiently, at the same time being presented with tools that hinder this. Are these systems somebody's "baby"? My guess is that they must sp-t out beautiful easy, ready to read reports for management so they don't have to work as hard. Thoughts?

i hate to say it, but For a number of years now, work has been proceeding in order to bring perfection to the crudely conceived idea of a transmission that would not only supply inverse reactive current for use in unilateral phase detractors, but would also be capable of automatically synchronizing cardinal grammeters. Such an instrument is the turbo encabulator.

Now basically the only new principle involved is that instead of power being generated by the relative motion of conductors and fluxes, it is produced by the modial interaction of magneto-reluctance and capacitive diractance.

The original machine had a base plate of pre-famulated amulite surmounted by a malleable logarithmic casing in such a way that the two spurving bearings were in a direct line with the panametric fan. The latter consisted simply of six hydrocoptic marzlevanes, so fitted to the ambifacient lunar waneshaft that side fumbling was effectively prevented.

The main winding was of the normal lotus-o-delta type placed in panendermic semi-boloid slots of the stator, every seventh conductor being connected by a non-reversible tremie pipe to the differential girdle spring on the “up” end of the grammeters.

All you need to handle claims is a $1 pad of lined paper. Did it for years. Data entry is soul crushing and gives your management all the ammo to keep you from getting a raise.

You are d-mb. It is about metrics. All corporate banking and insurance systems are complex and slow. Get a clue. Do your job fast and well or get terminated by banking or insurance. Or carvana. Yikes. They measure everything including time you go to the bathroom. Carvana makes banking and insurance companies metrics look easy.

I would never think my intellect is beyond anyone else. It is amazing how the more you learn the less you really know and the more we need to learn. We are all gifted.

I’m sick and tired of doing 100 things plus just one more at the same time while working claims. Managers and the other people looking at their spreadsheets don’t understand that even when a person can do all this stuff they’re asking, it’s a lot harder to do than they realize. At some point people are going to see a job like this as not worth it, like being a police officer, and it’ll be hard to recruit people who want to do it or stick with it to become good at it.

Lotsa data and systems geniuses have to justify twitch /leadership" and think reports will empower them to make decisions that they should have the brains to make without them. Same old cr-p

Everyone has to justify their pay somehow.

Bit at whose expense. Metrics are not solid or good decision tools u less the data has true meaning and integrity

A shame

In agency, we’re 4 years into ECRM. Still have constant updates and still have trouble with it. Of course we also still have ABS and NECHO. Trying to record.track/save every piece of data across 3 platforms that don’t work together has been a mess for the people who are actually expected to use it every day. Oh yeah, while running 3 different operating systems (Explorer, Edge, and Chrome). It’s no wonder our systems are always slow, except when they’re down altogether.
