Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

A bunch of crock

I truly hate this company and everything it stands for. Management talks a good game of wanting us to feel valued and important. What a bunch of crock. In reality, we are none of those things and SF could care less about our wellbeing. So many employees getting overworked - me included. I know, if I don’t like it then find something else. News flash - many are trying to find something else. But until then, we’re stuck here. I’ve been told to “just quit” but I’m not stupid enough to quit without having something to fall back on. I can’t wait for that day to come.

Take my advice and I wanna say at this point, competing for a job is a waste of time. I even got into SF from my old career and a loose connection. Funny enough I really don’t talk to that person at all today. It wasn’t really anything more than just a reference from helping weekly that individual.

It still took me multiple interviews also, but having a reference in most companies is a matter or trial and error, not competition.

Just do a decent job at your current role, it’s not uncommon for adjustors to be offered none adjustor roles with other companies. You usually only see it though in total loss or BI. I’ve been offered quite a few careers from well off customers. I don’t know what I was thinking before, but I’m definitely giving them my contact info now and taking the next best opportunity.

Going off my personal experience I’d say if you are applying for jobs in claims you probably deserve to stay in claims or have no patience. This is one of the few jobs out here you’ll never know who you cross paths with.

There are many if underdelivering employees that think they deserve something. Clearly you havent tested the market because you would get a big fat 0 - which is quite accurate

@bzt-sweetie I stand my ground. Unlike a lot of the cry babies and whiners that populate this forum. Maybe Sf could just give them all participation ribbons-that would make them feel special.

its so rare any good info is posted on this website. But yeah heres another pointless rant about how SF is so terrible and the worst company ever, while you sink another decade doing mediocre work, hanging on for retirement.

@yna. And you wonder why there is such thing as a hostile work environment calling someone a coward; then, you're the first one to run when confronted. Remarks like that in any work environment create hostility that can lead to vi-----e. Be careful!

Nothing worse than cowards that can’t take care of themselves. Face it you are always going to be someone’s toy.

@uqa. Afraid to admit you ever had one of those days? If you haven't you are one of those elitist fit in types who preach the inclusion lie!

So why are you on here? The solution is obvious and you aren’t doing it.
