My take on it is that Sycamore Partners is afraid if they tarnish their name with Belk, they will be denied for other investments
@kka there’s a su---r born every minute
Belk is now hiring clowns from BB&B, a RVP and several others. Who would APPLY to work at Belk after BBB goes down in flames? Laughable. Didn't they learn their lesson the first time?
@xqk clearly your not a current employee of Belk.
Doubt you ever were.
@xqk
Meh, it’s the nature of doing business ( or lack of). Be happy- MAYBE you’ll get your business back but I highly doubt you won’t.
Now tell us all about kohls, Sears, Tuesday morning, Joanne’s, gap, Whole Foods, Penny’s, I mean we have all day..
Stick to the subject of Belk and take off your helmet mr armchair quarterback. Or do you not know anything about the company and here to stir the pot. Buh-bye
@iha…what a narrow minded point of view you have. Any struggling brick and mortar retailer closing all its doors is of relevance to belk, especially those which sell comparable merchandise. Albeit only a portion of its total sales, belk is also a retailer of home goods in many of the same markets as BB&B. But keep your blinders on, @iha, insulating yourself from the suffering around you. Besides, if you can’t see it coming, going down with THIS ship may be less painful.
Great. This just opens up the page for everyone to post any retailer who’s closing or going out of business. Anything Belk related will be pushed to the bottom.
I guess misery loves company.
@vjq…hitting a little to close to home?
This announcement relates to all struggling brick & mortar retailers and BELK IS STRUGGLING. Pay your respects to the deceased among us and shut up!
This page is for Belk. Post this to BBB page.
