WFH is political cover as TMO closes offices and prepares final lists.do you really think they would pay people $100k indefinitely without no in person supervision. As long as your name is planned to be on a cubicle on a seating plan you are safe until next year. I think the person I overheard talking about this is named Carol or Karen one of those white girl names.

Sprint people are old and slow. They are the ones driving RTO. Keep knocking back your Ensure at your cubes, you old farts!

“Doesn't matter if your job can be done in office or at home. And, btw, most every single job at T-Mobile can be done at home (please refer to 2020-2021).”

THIIIIIIIISSSSS. Does everyone forget the gigantic merger and integration that happened during WFH lockdown? Somehow we managed to pull that off without being in offices.

The only reason anyone cares about RTO is because of the astronomical lease commitments they have with these HQ offices and the money they’ve spent on them. It’s also just another way to quietly lay off a sh-t load of employees without saying it was a layoff.

Where have you been? Outsourcing to India and other countries has been around for 20+ years.

You will likely notice a trend. Work from the office appeals to the weak, the low status, the lonely sad sacks who need the social interaction because they have none, the underachievers who need to interact with smarter people to do their jobs. The worst amongst us. Pity them but keep doing your thing.

“ Honestly how do you really know if WFH are productive? This is a slippery slope of inefficiency gilded with lies and corruption.”

Gee, I don’t know, maybe if all of their tasks/responsibilities they were hired for are completed? Y’all are silly with this WFH hatred.

Jobs are slowly being moved to India to not attract too much attention all at once. The fact is if your job can be done full time at home it will be done full time from India in the very near future. It’s not personal just business.

Your in-office job is already being shipped off to India.

Don’t be surprised when your WFH job gets shipped to India to save money. Just saying

"Everybody back to the typewriter. No more computer slackers. Enough is enough!"

"Everyone back to physical memos. No more email slackers. Enough is enough!"

"Everyone back to manually assembling cars. No more automated assembly line slackers. Enough is enough."

Same sentiment. Different generation. You'll die off eventually.

Again, this would obviously not work, lol. We are what keeps things running while you all socialize, play music and have potlucks in the office.

Similarly to the tree falling in the forest and there’s no one to hear it…

If a WFH person leaves, do you notice it?

I agree. No.
