unfortunately yes, AJ is still around.
@38s AJ is still around?
the Dan that fancies himself an expert at absolutely everything except being a half decent human being?
a one hundred % certified a$$hole. overcompensating tiny little man. he and his buddy AJ can go to he-l.
@2ty the Dan who claimed to simultaneously be a 'Fellow' and a 'VP'? The Dan who was the only Fellow with no patents? The Dan whose entire technical background was in Eligibility systems NOT Medicaid?
Yeah, lets put a narcissist like that in charge of technical direction
@2r4 I think I know who you mean.... He was treated like a technical god in the legacy Medicaid sector when I started in the early 2010s.
@1z0 The Dan that's been behind every bad decision since I've worked here?
@1d7 Totally agree. That would be Dan
There are more than 450+ sr. VPs/VPs in GW and if you add sr.Dirs/Dirs the number is close to 1500+. Number includes wasteful spend at offshore and useless mgmt employees there.
In any org of 10K, only 1~3% are Directors and above. This is close to 20%+ and does not include Mgr/Sr.Mgrs/sr.principals/distinguished architects and all of senior sales staff. If these are included, it is close to 40%.
High time this inverted pyramid topples and time for mass layoffs.
Greg must resign soon!!
I agree 100%. Those working at Gainwell that don’t see this have their heads in the sand.
It is a sinking ship. It cannot be stopped. If you choose to stay on board you are going to drown with the rest of the passengers. The best thing to do is to get out immediately.
Yes the job market is tough. It’s always tough. But do whatever you have to do in order to get out soon. Take a lower paying job. Do whatever is needed to get out.
If you wait too long then even having Gainwell on your resume is going to make it tough to get a job.
Gainwell will fail. It’s just a matter of when. The stars have aligned.
It is best for all employees to leave before that happens. Get out now.
@jc It is too late. The exit from AWS and build IaC in Platform Gainwell is a sh-t show and everybody knows it and now they are too deep in to get out. I remember an email thread where a project manager stated " Why would be build something that only a few people know how to migrate in it"....boy ain't that the truth. Platform Gainwell and anyone who thought it was good idea needs to be tossed.
Greg and his useless Deloitte/Accenture mgmt who are just here as $$$ s**kers should have some shame and resign. Looters!
@hy they actually hired directors and got rid of the people who actually do the work and know it best. Probably to pay for them. Very poorly run company! Btw absolutely nobody they hire can fix what’s happening. It’s too late now. They should’ve took action like 3 years ago.
Love to see VPs and Dirs fired first for daylight robbery so far
It will be bankruptcy first. Then sold for pennies on the dollar.
Gainwell has signed up for failure. It would appear to be inevitable.
@bg I don’t think they can sell the company. Loans still have to be assumed by the buyer. Good luck with that!
BK is most likely.
Isn’t it clear to everyone that within the next two years that Gainwell will either be sold or closed within the next two years?
After lining their bonuses now over last year and half now they are running Gainwell to the ground. Useless VPs who continue to bring more useless management buddies.
I remember when they started bringing in all the Accenture and Deloitte people into the implementation practice. My takeaway was that the incumbent management team wasn't doing a great job. I've been gone from Gainwell for awhile (thankfully) but I read somewhere else that the states are cancelling the DDI projects so I'm not sure what there is to implement.
Highlights of his tenure was to surround himself with numerous Deloitte/Accenture colleagues as VPs, Dir/Sr. directors.
@ae Disagree, he is very well respected. Big improvement over PG.
well, I have absolutely nothing good to say about Greg A., having been a victim myself, along with 300 other of my fellow testers, of his schemes and machinations.
I hope he is shown the door pretty soon. and also, as testers we get to see the "quality" of the work the implementation practice puts out on a daily basis, so...
I hope you didn't put this post to collect good will from other people... you won't
