Any word on Wellmed Texas layoffs? I believe everyone was safe the rest of this year but not sure any more

At least 13 Community Health Workers given notice today, last day 10/28. Director claimed HR will help place in internal openings.

I am a Sr. Lead in Greater Texas and I just attended a reorganization meeting- they are going to attempt redeployment. I have until October 28th.
@gq where is all of this BS coming from? Theres no reason to think wellmed is shutting down or being sold. It’s still one of the top cdos under Optum. This is just fear mongering.
It's being shut down, after FL post transition is completed.
I think the nurse case managers for unplanned inpatient are gonna be hit. Im hearing a lot of rumors. I think some of the managers for this department may be hit too.
