Walmart associates need to take control of the work environments you are subjected to. Workers organize and vote in unions everyday .they do it to regain some dignity, fairness, and respect from companies that treat them like disposable wipes. Walmart has no reason to stop the practices they do until you vote union and then associates have a voice they have some backing and support. It starts w 1 store 1 town or city 1 day at a time
Walmart want you scared and nervous but at this point what do u have to lose. They are messing with your hours your availibilties; your benefits etc what do u have to lose.

As I have done both. Skilled currently i work for company where I am a machinist and a truck driver, as well as welder i started in Wal-Mart and retail when you become proficient is an acquired skill. So don't let anyone tell you different there is big difference between a 1 yr associate and a 5 year associate but I do not like union's they are scam open door your complaint s to the top tell you get replies stick together as a team front end consumables ect. If there constantly getting open doors all the way up from your store you see more visitors than before and while they are there blow them up pull them in the office one associate after another
This is retail. You are an un–skilled worker. You are not a plumber, welder, carpenter, truck driver, electrician. You have a skill set that most anyone can do. There are thousands of people who would like to take your place and many high schoolers who are looking for their first job.
Just take modern retail as what it is : a part time job to make some extra money, a starter or a beginner job to gain some experience or some skill. You cannot make a career out of retail like you could in the past, unless you go into management or maybe you just like the work and don't care about the pay and benefits.
The problem is everyone had to be on board and too many associates are living paycheck to paycheck. It takes some sacrifice. No pain no gain.
This is so laughable. Walmart will close a store before a union is allowed. But, go ahead. We’ll all just watch and laugh.
It's retail. Read other layoff boards. Other stores are the same. Find a new career.
