@tuq Pardon me? Yes Nasser was harsh, but thats not why he was canned. He was tossed out because all of his grandiose ideas were !@#$. Bought Volvo. Bought Landrover. Bought Jaguar. Bought Astin Martin. Created PAG. Bought all the junk yards. Bought all those quicky lube places. Then we had to sell that mess at pennies on the dollar. He cost this company billions and only accomplished scaring all the employees.

Epic…in the ABC interview your ceo said that they can’t pay union workers $300k a year( like ceo pay) the company would go bankrupt…awesome ford PR team..way to show that your top man grasps the situation! Btw why is it not a top woman???

JF is highly regarded in the respected automotive media outlets. The well majority of Ford employees agree with the direction of the company with the Ford+ Transformation Plan. Most importantly, Bill Ford himself has 100% faith in the leadership working for the company and has stated the current team is the best the company has had in its history.

To those who have an open mind, keep the faith and do not fall for the false information and negative opinions that are on display on this forum.

Many of those fake "job postings" are intended to prove to the government that there are no qualified people applying so they can go the H1B route. Its just a scam to satisfy a regulation.

This is an insult to clowns.

There is also a lot of advertising revenue on the so called "job boards".
Fake alien news, fake job postings = big advertising revenue.

You completely missed the point of my post. Good luck finding a new job. Over 75% of "job postings" are fake. The job boards have about the same credibility as the web sites with aliens.

Invaded by aliens!? I assume you were being sarcastic or making a joke. If aliens drove by Earth they’d probably lock the doors on their spaceship and speed by as quickly as possible.

Just because a company posts "jobs" doesn't mean they are hiring. Companies post fake jobs for multiple reasons, mostly just to have a pool of resumes in case of people quit with no notice. Companies also post fake jobs are legality reasons when they move people around internally.

I also have seen companies posting warnings/disclaimers on their sites about fake job postings on independent job boards from scammers.

The old adage, just because it's on the internet doesn't mean it is true.

According to 1000's of web sites, Ford is the least of our concerns, since we are about to be invaded by aliens from space any day now. Look it up in Google. (Just click though all the ads before you get to the "evidence" of aliens.)

If you are at all qualified, you will find new work within a week. If not, might as well accept that Ford is the only place that will pay you and live with it instead of complaining on a website full of anonymous people who are mostly here to spread false rumours and scare people like you.

Vent as you may, but this train is running down the track without anyone checking the boiler pressure or the water level. Just shoveling coal in the boiler. The sooner everyone realizes the enterprise is too sick to survive the better they can make their plans both professionally and financially. This goes beyond the confines of Ford; US global leadership is fading by the day. Just be prepared, look after your family, it will be all you ever truly have. Don’t throw your life away on a company where everyone is replaceable; including the CEO and the family who owns it.
