Allstate's new schtick

Not even bother with layoffs. Just force your employees over to a vendor in which over half their employees are offshore and force them into menial jobs at lesser benefits until the vendor cuts you loose with no severance.

Allstate comes out smelling like a rose. They don't have to pay severance or unemployment and the eventual cuts are not on their hands but the hands of the vendor who could care less about any of us.

The company stopped caring about you when they made one of their defining principles “transparency”. Despite making it a “priority”, they strung you along in 2020 for many months while you didn’t know if you’d be retained, without being truthful in how that process would be handled. They then started telling you all about “transformative growth”, another marketing sham to hide its actual intentions. This company has no direction, poor leadership, and isn’t forthcoming to its employees, while in the same breath telling you that are they are transparent. The past few years have been a failure from many standpoints, but most notably, their employees don’t seem to understand what direction that company is headed whatsoever.

@hcs+1jo2zZby Unions can't do anything if the company decides to close a location, look at the auto industry and how they set up plants in Mexico.

CSL here. - Exactly why claims has needed a Union for years. Teachers, Pilots, even grocery store checkers have a Union. This company doesn’t care about you. Time to wake up and do something about it and the only thing you can do is get a Union going or complain to BOLI in the meantime.
