Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Making Bank Thank you State FArm

I’m not leaving State Farm, I’m making BANK working here and another place.

All possible to my Engineering Manger. What a joke. They don’t know cr-p about coding. They are making more money so why can’t I. I’m raking in north of $200,000 easily with my two corporate paychecks.

It is so easy with the management at State Farm. The don’t check in, they don’t track your work, just get it done. One on one are worthless, my manager is always late because she is running after her kids or something. Then the meetings are the same, “what can I do for you? How can I help you?” You are already helping me by being a cr-p manager. LOL

My friend joined my unit and landed a 2nd job too. So many of the people are doing it. So easy with State Managers and up. Just some BS and they take your word. Plus, when you never have to go into the office BONUS!!

I’d be surprised if my manager wasn’t doing it given how disengaged they are.

Before any of you entitled, lazy a-s, process pushing old timers at the “Farm” start to lecture me in the comments about ethics and morales, this isn’t any worse than what the state farm executives are doing. Lying and making more money. Look what they did to those 800 to 900 people last years Lied to their faces, “no, no plans to out source you”, then BAM. Outsourced those people and the executives got nice FAT bonuses for expense reduction. Oh, and don’t forget the lie they told those people how State Farm was struggling financially and then records profits.

So, I’m going just what my executives are doing, lying and making BANK!!!

Want to do it, just searched the web and find out how. Simple.

I'm doing it as well. There's a lot of politics with incapable people taking credit for my work. So i realized I'm smart enough to capitalize this. I make director level pay as well. Life is now fair.

OP's post is fake. Anyone who unironically calls it "coding" doesn't know what they're talking about

Same bait material the same person posts here all the time, also the same person filling threads with bait posts. Not sure if its the website itself trying to bait engagement, or some really really sad ex employee, or a PR firm hired by SF to make this site less valuable for employees.

I worked two jobs while I watched SF workers out on the beach smokin their dope, driving drunk and running around on their wife. I laughed at their ignorance and stupidity and still do to this day.

OP is full of it , its either a tactic by this website to stir up trouble to get posts or a Manager trying to put the perception that employees do nothing when in reality employees at state farm are the most understaffed overworked they have ever been, there can not be time for "a second job" no such thing , its bad enough you cant even get up and go p-e because in 1 minute an alert shows up that you were idle and you get a condescending talking to by a manager, in some aspects working at state farm is Amazon , you have to p-e in bottle but at least you get to sit down

I call BS on the OP. You ain’t making a lot of scratch driving an Uber. By the way it was record losses the last couple years, not profits.

This is why working from home is great. Second jobs. Goofing off. Relaxing. I have taken naps during the day. We will never go back into the office and they can’t make us.

ya... this is exactly why State Farm is in the mess its in ... Scraping the bottom of the employment pool to fill a position, most likely a D and I hire.

The rest of State Farm outside of claims is just wild. I am a top performer in injury and everything we do is tracked. We noticed your mouse hasn’t moved in a minute , are things ok ? It’s so great you are on top of your work, we are going to load level you with more claims from CS that is always behind and constantly calls off work.

, I do the same as an absentee agent, have a great team running the show, also built an awesome commercial property business mostly warehouse and self storage over the last 20 plus years that throws off 3 times what I make as an agent, passive income so they can’t do sht about it. I would walk from the agency but with premium increases that income has increased 40% in the last 3 years, I throw a chunk to my team and stack the rest. Life is very very good.
