Tuboscope updates?

Cmon yall, I know there are some rumors with budgets in full swing. It's getting boring out here with no pipe. Need to pass the time with some popcorn and hearing about the shlt show that is holmes road.

If you’re so unhappy here, just quit already. Why come to this site everyday and complain about calls your Management is requiring you to attend.

@hafz+176QdKj7 It's called the "Buddy" system. Been in place way before you or me and will always be in place. Every company has and will have the buddy system. If it bothers you, then you need to make a change but if you really want to succeed in your work at any company, learn your job well or just s— up to your superiors, a little bit of both will go a long way.

@Vernon Dursley, You're not in the know? Hmmmm, that may be sign your not going to be much longer. Just a thought.

Nobody still has explained the point of these ALT calls. It’s like these sales VPs just want to hear themselves talk. Nobody has any work, just accept it. Talking and cheerleading won’t make any difference. Why tie up all of these people on these ridiculous calls? Supposedly they do it with the coating shops too. Half of them are closed. What’s to talk about?

Doodle Dandy

You might want to consider that the older buildings and equipment help the plants to compete, especially with oil below $40. Cost is critical even more now.

"replace the VP..."

Ha! brother this is Tuboscope. The more VP's the better! VP is a lifetime appointment even if you never produce, engineer, build, or sell anything you will always remain a Tubo VP.

Proof? See: current VP's.

@dyuw+176QdKj7 There was a lady cut from front office one in purchasing took leave of absence already, a field support sales guy was cut, shop hand was cut, several in manufacturing took a leave of absence but pretty doubtful they will be able to return.

Don’t talk about the guy in the engineering group. The one that’s supposed to replace the VP. His wife monitors the site and gets pretty defensive when people comment about her man.

Don't despair guys, the R&M group is almost done* with finally bringing on board the tech they "lost" when we bought them.

*Per the last ALT call, and every call before that one going back to the acquisition five years ago. But this time they are extra really close.

I can’t wait for the next ALT call for Les the Mess and his cheer queen to tell us how bad the market is and how important every order is. Then when we have a potential order, we do everything we can to tick off the customer so they end up going to the competition. I’ve been saying for awhile now, they should bring in some Hollywood screenwriter to write up a weekly series on the things that go on here. It could be narrated by “the Coach”.

How is Tuboscope still in business? All of their equipment is from the 70s. No engineering or innovation at all. DC and his little island of misfits should be run out of her and replaced with some true engineers. Every facility I’ve been to looks like it was used on one of the Mad Max movies. Bankruptcy and closure is the best thing that can happen to that place.

Still having these great ALT calls to hear how no one has a plan on moving the business forward. Same thing every call. Redundant waste of time.

There will continue to be cuts throughout the end of the year. All Tubo cares about is getting their EBITDA in line so they can get those bonuses. They could care less about all of the poor souls they’ve laid off.

No need to worry bout Holmes road, very little will happen here after budget is set. You do need to worry bout your own shlt show though, popcorn is going to be to go only and you're the main attraction at the show.
