Denver lost over 100 people yesterday and today in its planned wave, there goes another 20 seasoned phone reps and many other seasoned individuals in other areas. Good luck with getting things done correctly!!

Those let go as a RIF were left on payroll to get their bonus. They don't fire people instantly unless you did something bad.

Guys this is very common. Lay of knowledge, pay them 2 weeks per year worked severance, their 2025 full bonus, their 2026 prorated bonus only to replace them with 2-3 people with no experience. Remember laying off 200 people to rehire 400 isn't a RIF, it's targeted reallocationn. Discrimination? Nope! You signed the generous package because you don't want to give up your bonus…and that why TIAA waits to layoff around bonus time.

i know of at least two in Wealth Management. They were not pushing the managed product and were let go
