Thread regarding New York - Presbyterian Hospital layoffs

Weill Cornell Medicine NY Presbyterian is one entity Corwin and the lawyers would like you to think it's separate

Let's shine the spotlight on Weill Cornell Medicine and the Department of Neurosurgery. Yes, they operate at NY Presbyterian this is one entity and they're not exempt from the abuse, the quiet firing, the retaliation and the HR cover ups. It has been going on for years. While the layoffs happen at NYP, Weill Cornell Medicine is giving their staff a 3% raise according to upper management since the most recent performance reviews have taken place. Whether that's true or not is yet to be seen, everyone will wait to July to see! Mass exodus out of this toxic department. Upper Management continues to get paid while clinical staff suffers. Nurses Week? Not even a slice of pizza passed through to acknowledge all of the hard work and patient care. The disclaimer is budget deficit and revenue loss year after year! This department is the most toxic of all. This is where women are subject to grueling hours of patient care only to be met with verbal harassment and disdain from their leaders. If anyone is reading this someone should launch an investigation into Weill Cornell Medicine, they should start with HR and work their way into the practices. I only hope that the good employees leave Weill Cornell/NYP. People have to start speaking up on the corruption, no one should be afraid or silenced!!!!!!

@gz “The term "tripartite" in the context of NewYork-Presbyterian refers to the three-way alignment and collaboration between Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM), NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP), and Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC). This collaboration encompasses various aspects, including research, clinical care, education, and data sharing.” In other words one entity. The college can't function without the hospital and vice versa. Where would NYP/Cornell physicians operate? Mt. Sinai? NYU- no. One entity.

Weill Cornell Medicine and NYP are absolutely different organizations… and is Columbia… but we have staff co-mingled since we have a near endless array of partnerships to try and get us to function as an enterprise.
