Thread regarding Gainwell Technologies layoffs

Those of you who brag about doing nothing ARE the problem.

Have some self-respect or just leave already.

After reading these comments I can confirm:

People are comparing GWT to an abusive relationship

people get hammered on the clock

People do nothing on the clock

In all, it got so bad for me I had to file an HR complaint on my supervisor for targeting me when I in fact was trying to go above and beyond. It was borderline discrimination due to my anxiety caused by my military service.

Couldn’t get a lawyer because the “proof” was always verbal and I had no paper trail to prove it /:

Since then I’ve given up on this company.

A decade wasted here

And they don’t fire people responsible for the toxic work environments

Just let go the employees that try

I wish GWT would let me go so I could get my severance and get a new job

I refuse to quit this company.

They mentally break me down but I’m not going without what I’m owed.

A decade here and not even a raise when all of my annual reviews have been exceed expectations

I’m all for everyone doing what they can to stick it to GWT

I support getting drunk on the Gainwell clock.

Gainwell is such a toxic and inefficient mess. No way anyone will even know it.

The leaders don’t know what they are doing well enough to run the company. They are inept.

Mark and Mike

Why so angry?

The truth about the organization you work for might hurt sometimes.

Definitely an illegal and unethical company.

Agreed. At Gainwell good employees can’t survive. You have to pretend to su-k to last at Gainwell. Or you have to really su-k.

So I will do nothing. And I will continue to spread the word about how terrible of a place this is.

Illegal. Unethical.

Gainwell needs burned down.

All leaders need fired. New owners need to take o er and clean house.

Becky at Gainwell smart managers that care do not exist. They can’t. If they do they will be moved out of the company for not fitting the unethical and illegal practices that are ingrained into the Gainwell fabric.

It feels good to be part of the solution by doing nothing to punish Gainwell.

I am all in to do nothing to stick it to this horrible organization. The illegal and unethical practices are quite frankly astounding.

Do nothing.

Regardless of the a user has the upper hand or not there is zero reason to work hard for them. Most abusers have the upper hand in some manner. It just shows they are controlling freaks that need punished. Gainwell is no different. Just because they have the upper hand and want to control your lives there is no reason to h lp them be a bigger problem. Working hard for them will only compound the problem and give them a bigger upper hand.

So I will continue to do nothing.

Don't spend money you don't have. Not a difficult concept. If you don't have the skills to work for a real company that's a personal problem.

No need to overstep. The poster did include healthcare for extended family as a factor. Everyone’s burden is different, and so is everyone’s compensation tier.
Even if you’re well off, or at least moderately comfortable, I’m grateful that you have never had a life-changing incident that wiped you out completely.
Ideally we bounce back. Realistically there are plenty of factors, personal financial discipline aside.

To Previous post -
Do not forget that here the abuser has full advantage upper hand - the execs can decide to mass layoff anytime and say it is due to business losses.
They have millions to survive, do you?
Most of us live paycheck to paycheck - for essential bills, mortgages, healthcare support for our elderly and kids etc.

I’m being abused by Gainwell. I’m being mistreated by Gainwell. Gainwell is cheating and stealing from its customers.
Gainwell is operating illegally and unethically.

That does not warrant me working hard for my abuser.

Instead that warrants me fighting back against my abuser.

Gainwell needs punished just like in any abusive relationship. The abuser needs punished.

The o my discourse that we have against Gainwell the abuser is to do as little as possible.

Why would I do that when I can get paid to do nothing like the entire executive team? I'm breaking six figures for the first time ever by "working" my Gainwell "job" at the same time as another.

Makes sense to take advantage of Gainwell as much as possible. That’s what the leaders do. And that’s what the company does to its customers.

No need to help out a company that operates illegally and unethically.

"No raises this year" is incorrect. Rest assured the executive team will be getting raises.

If you survive a mass layoff this summer then you can think of going through rough transition during sale to new owner. Either way, no raises this year! Get ready to be continued to be f—ked doing more work for less pay.

Yeah. Gainwell is a company where you want to do the bare minimum or even less. You aren't gonna get more than that 2-3% raise per year anyway, if that. There is literally no reason to care.

@gyfh+1rNnV3Qx

It is about Gainwell.

Your advice is like telling someone that gets abused by their spouse that they need to stay and do a better job.

Gainwell the abuser can forget about getting hard work out of me. I’m hopeful that the majority of the troops feel the same. I’m not going to do anything if I don’t have to.

A person who asks why someone would want to do an honest day’s work at any current or former place of employment has issues.

by

Post ID: @esvl+1rNnV3Qx

Why would any employee at Gainwell want to do an honest days work?

The company is such a toxic cesspool that has zero value for the employee. They are just waiting until they can eliminate as many of us as they can. Push to offshore. It’s all about money and the terrible leaders ego.

They are unethically and illegally operating.

So why would anyone want to do any honest work for Gainwell Technologies?

I will do the minimum. Not one ounce more. Some days that is absolutely zero.

Those of you that want to work hard - good for you. But you are not helping the company in the least. They will continue to steal from the states and they will lay you off anyway.

@dnrz+1rNnV3Qx - whoooaaa big guy...don't use too many big words at one time...wouldn't want you to pop a vessel.

Clearly you're a mover and a shaker on the way up in the world. Going big places with that stellar approach.

Way to set the bar high!

BTW no crying just laughter....have another Cheetoh and hit that bargain store up again.....you clearly need a hug.

If you're accepting pay and not doing a thing it is literally fraud.

If you're to insecure or incompetent to find a new gig despite knowing FULL well MONTHS in advance about the offshoring push I pity you.
