Ford already found the secret recipe to SIRP w/o getting in legal nightmare. Aug 2022 SIRP'ed LL's regardless of seniority. Summer 2023 SIRP'ed mainly those ones with 25+ yrs seniority. Forecast for 2024, all employees with 20+ yrs seniority. The critical ? will be if Senior Mgt will let go VP, Directors, Chief Eng, Mgrs, Sprvs who meet that criteria. At UnSE Quality issues have deep roots in incompetent LL's, everybody with at least 10 yrs here know that DEI initiatives or new hires have nothing to do with Q issues. It is the Friends and Family behavior where people are promoted not by merits but because they are part of the Good Old Boys Network. Those who blame AA, DEI, India, China, etc for current Q issues do not work for Ford. Now that VHE VP is leaving, it is expected that many of his cronies will go with him. What Ford needs is to shake up all LL's levels, Smart Redesign and Conway Project did not have any impact to remove rotten wood, those initiatives consolidated GOBN. At UnSE all LL's have been in that position for more than 20yrs changing chairs every 4 yrs. one may expect that they will try to educate themselves in their new position, NO, they just keep making same rookie mistakes they have been doing since they were promoted. At UnSE you can see who is the king maker and how he has been pulling up his proteges. Now we have children of those LL's working at UnSE, does it sound familiar ? There is no accountability, LL's claim immunity for their decisions, they just say YES w/o thinking about consequences. All UnSE is corrupted, no wonder Ford has Q issues

Ford doesn’t even give as much as GM. I guess we will find out soon enough.

If I were offered this kind of buyout would take it and run. Pocket the cash and try to get employment elsewhere asap imo.

No, actually we won't notify them. If they belive in the Ford + plan, they can stay where they are while the smart ones bail to better careers. Less competition for jobs. Go ahead and stay. Have fun. At least we'll have a head start before those believers eventually get let go. Ford should be a stop on your way to bigger and better things. NUMBERS and ACTIONS have proven year after year...after year, that quality isn't #1. They can say it all they want. Show us the damn numbers. Until then talk is cheap and gets cheaper the more we hear it.

@hag+1qawYAKX. You aren't fooling anyone. No intelligent employee is behind the Ford + plan. There are just those actors hoping to scam their way to a few big bonuses before they find a job they can believe in.

Ford has no long term future?? You might want to notify the Ford BOD, Ford leadership, and every Ford employee who is fully behind the Ford+ Plan.

Wow.

Don't expect any voluntary offers from Ford since they no longer want to maintain goodwill with their employees and treat us like family. Toyota is doing it the right way and will attract great new talent while offering a very generous buyout. Unlikely many will join Ford, but maybe.

I would take it.

This company (Ford) has no long term future

Ford will do nothing.

Toyota has a much smaller workforce in the US and more profits to fund this. They are also proactive rather than reactive like Ford.

Hopefully, we will hire those Toyota workers and improve the workforce!
