Which one to use up first?
I recently had a Manager encourage me to use sick-time vs. vacay. Then I heard it's because company doesn't pay out for vacation days but does for sick days.

I'd dig through the hr website to find this, but seriously that website/page is totally unusable.

HR sc--wed up my vacation versus sick time and 'helpfully' put vacation accrual into sick. When challenged the rep said it's all the same. Took some effort to get it fixed.

HR contended it was the same...

Sick cannot be taken for more than three consecutive days. It is negatively reflected upon your performance.

That said, I've been sick a lot. Sick of the lies. Sick of the hypocrisy. And since I'm out bonus day plus two weeks...

PTO? The Schweb actually is useful for this info. MyHR is your friend if you’re a current employee. I’ll give you a hint: your manager is right, but manage your vacay cap wisely.
