I did it! Finally I can breathe a sigh of relief! Has anyone else put in their notice recently or have plans to quit soon? I was burnt out and just over the Morgan big firm suck up stressful culture. I felt like the stress sent me into overload even after I was signed off and tried to enjoy time with my family. I have another offer that I accepted and start in a few weeks. I can't wait to get these next 2 weeks out of the way. I would never recommend working for Morgan or working for a firm purchased by Morgan (so many are being brought up now). There is a much better job out there for you. Since they want everyone back in the office to te--orize us and feed their egos so badly, let them enjoy the workforce who thrives on being treated poorly. There are too many great jobs, better flexibility, and better bosses out there than sticking around to deal with Morgan Stanley.

Go and play the Van Halen JUMP. And a few others, like Eagle - new boy in town. Etc. And enjoy. There is the elated feeling of you don't give a damn, and all the bullxxxx is over now. Best of luck in your new adventures.
You still gotta get the vaxx….

this time I avoided finance altogether. Would never venture back into a pit of despair like working at Morgan. I'm sure a lot of people feel differently, but chasing an empty check and bonus doesn't do anything for me anymore. The trade off isn't worth for me anymore.
Unfortunately, if you got a job in finance/investment it'll be the same, or worse as a newby. If you happiness is tied to wall street, stock/portfolio performance or any ratios and bottom line numbers....well, it's just history repeating itself. Meanwhile, good luck.
