Hoping to get a serious answer as to what happens to unvested RSUs in the package thats being offered.

I don't believe OP will end up with any RSUs.
For those under rule 60/75, I hear that 2025 RSU grants are not to be accelerated unless 12 months from the grant have passed. Due to "austerity". To my recollection this was never communicated in the geo I belong. Source: A former colleague of mine who found out the hard way (after checking eTrade site and saw the 2025 unvested RSU "cancelled"

RSU might mean something if you're salaried. If you're hourly, like me, it's a slap in the face. 30 years in and it's a small drop in an even smaller bucket.
I stopped putting any money in Intel back in 2010 and vested elsewhere. Great decision on my part.
Any RSUs I have are cashed out so I can throw a very small party from time to time. Thanks Intel!
@a7 Took ERP last year and got all of them.
I think that was the usual treatment and not part of the ERP Special they were running last year.
Check and see if the RSU which will vest within the next year will be accelerated. In any case, wait for a bit after the exit and see. All this should be defined in your package, so why ask?

You get some accelerated vesting of you’re either over 60 or have hit Rule of 75. Otherwise you lose them.
