Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Things have changed here

PSG 22, been with CVX 19 years. Seen changes in leadership and strategies that made me scratch my head but I took it all in stride because this is Chevron - one of the best O&G companies in the world. Or WAS one of the best. Leadership’s focus on needless programs and implementing useless policies has steered this company away from its very own mission statement - and we keep moving in the wrong direction. We really need to get back on track before it’s too late.

I have been with Chevron 25 years, I am a 20 psg. I started at a -15. Yes Minus. It's been a long road, podnas! I started cleaning the toilets on Taco Tuesdays at the Houston office. They needed to be done twice an hour. That's how I got hired on.

@fvh.....yes. Many people start low and work up. I started on the O&M scale and have made it to a 25.

MW has changed the company for the worse. The work environment has declined steadily during his tenure and job security has plummeted during his time.

Which psg did you start at? Hang in there though. Heard some people get 3 - 4 PSG bumps in the twilight years.
