Thread regarding MetLife Inc. layoffs

I miss WFH

I didn't think I would but I do. I thought it was just about getting used to the office again, but it's not. It's getting used to getting up earlier, being stuck in traffic, eating cr---y food, having so many distractions while working, and so many other things. I wasn't too concerned about RTO, but it turns out I was an id--t. I hate it.

@1ory+1g8F61kV MetLife might not have been able to buy their way onto that list, but most of the others must have.

For fun, take a company off the list and then check out their chatter on this board.

e.g. Cognizant?

I think it reads more like a list of the LARGEST employers.

LinkedIn published their Top 50 employers and guess who didn't make the cut? One accolade they couldn't purchase for their collection.

@ewl+1g8F61kV look at the turnover rate in the areas being allowed full time remote and then you'll understand. I heard that in other countries they're only telling people one day a week in the office. Would be nice if they did that in the US.

Should've just stayed home. As long as there's anyone else working remotely, I plan to do the same.

I hear that! Still don't understand how some people are allowed to be 100% WFH.
