Thread regarding Fannie Mae layoffs

Anybody else just waiting for the next round?

Not able to relax, not able to fully concentrate, not able to be productive. Just kind of stuck in a layoff limbo?

In hindsight getting laid off with severance was actually a blessing compared to living in constant limbo and misery

@a5 Nothing would surprise me with the current boss that we have. The man is at the absolute rock bottom on the human decency/morality scale.

Toxic environment! Waiting for the severance package and will figure out the next. It’s not health.

I am seeing increased hiring of foreign workers on h1b and OPT via third party vendors to replace seasoned US Citizen workforce. Anybody notice the same? I literally saw a group of 3-4 Indian ladies sitting in ethnic wear on the floor with their shoes off in Reston office the other day wearing temp badges for interviewees.

It's either that or trying to outcompete your coworker. Toxic as f.
