Disagree with most here. BF doesn't need to change much. As has been stated before (and by Bill himself), we have the best leadership team in the business right now. Just need the time to implement the Ford+ Plan to its fullest and then the company will prosper.
Too many impatient people in this forum.
STEP #1 New COB and board . No family members
STEP #2 NEW CEO and Group VPs
STEP #3 Reduce the number of VPs directors and mangers.
STEP #4 Get rid of TVM focus on quality
STEP #5 Reduce complexity.
Current management is clueless. JF came from Toyota but he did not learn anything. Hired into Ford 09 and accomplished nothing.
Buy another project property like the train station to inspire the troops! The Ren Cen is currently available. Buy that and pour hundreds of millions into it! Detroit is making a comeback you know!
Reduce bureaucracy by removing unnecessary leadership levels.
Reduce CEO and other C-suite salaries. Instead, focus on hiring top talent for top dollar and create an environment for innovation.
Stop burning money on EVs, focus more on hybrids, and improve reliability such that "built Ford tough" means anything.

Stop with the complexity. The Hyundai version of the Explorer has one powertrain. CD6 explorer launched with 3 or 4.
It is not that difficult:
- Bring back the vehicles that people want.
- Small/medium sedan Fusion
- Family sedan Taurus
One or two model types. Not in a million different options. Keep it simple like Henry Ford did.
