Thank You

Thank you to those who tried to provide a heads up of the date and or numbers. Information from this board helped my wife and I prioritize some of our recent financial decisions and had I received paperwork, we had our game plan ready to go for dealing with finances, searching for employment, and spiritually / mentally in preparing for the possibility.

To those who did lose their jobs today, I hope that you land someplace better that will recognize your abilities and talents and appreciate them.

I like Verizon. I like the people. We do great things. There are opportunities for improvement but I want to ride this out and keep learning.

You cannot take every post here seriously. In the aggregate, this site is super accurate. You need to be smart and watch for view counts, variety of opinions, look for recurring themes, etc.

Anyhow, aside from trolling it works for me (and tens of thousands of others judging based on view counts and frequency of updates)

Every time the company says it's reorganizing, I come to this site. It sure was accurate today. I didn't get the ax today, but had to get on a conference call and was basically told the company is still reorganizing and more changes are coming in the future. We were then told that the environment we have to work in. Great morale builder.
