Going to be a bloodbath. Best of luck to everyone.

Yesh lots of anger on these posts... its never fun being laid off but trashing your fellow colleagues not very nice.
I think I know what age group you belong to. Probably thought HP would be a good springboard to your career. I made the same mistake. Good news is that you have plenty of time to get out. The longer you stay, the more your skills start to decay.
Bro 90% of employees just click emails and do fancy slide decks. This work isn’t real. I haven’t seen so many damn PowerPoints since undergrad.
It seems like there's a lot of frustration behind your comments, particularly about the CW topic. For what it’s worth, half of our team came from CW backgrounds, and we've always been vocal about how poorly HP treats them. But since you appear to know better than us how we feel or what we do, I suppose there’s no point debating that.
As for my work, logistics — if you genuinely believe our work consists of just making PowerPoints and sitting around from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (and often on weekends too), I’d love to understand who you think is working harder in the company. Supply Chain and logistics seem to catch a lot of flak, often unfairly.
For the record, we spend most of our days in Excel because Ernest and the leadership expects us to handle extensive TCE reporting on top of the multiple other roles each of us already covers. PowerPoints are generally for executive use only.
Anyway, I hope you find fulfillment in continuing to direct your frustration at FTEs. All the best.
@19n is yet another one of those useless PowerPoint-polishing FTEs sitting on his fat chops looking down on CWs and others who do the REAL work at HP. He and his buddies are a dime a dozen.
@128 congratulations for leaving when you did, clearly now that you left, the shares dropped and we are all running around in circles screaming. I am not sure what the rest of us, insignificant people will do from now on without you and the CWs …
It’s Friday. What now?
Which Monday?
Poly got inflated salaries$$$$, HP got inflated egos and no brain cells — but they’re all serpents in the end.
Bigger impacts are in the Poly organization.
It's Thursday now what?
6/16 we've got notified along with 3 team members for WFR.
So glad I left HP when I did. Only the least employable, least productive FTEs are left. All the talent has been gone for a long time. And everyone who is still at HP knows that the CWs do all the real work.
Just 25? HP is going to need to do a lot more than that to catch up with the better companies that actually make media coverage over their layoffs.
I know about 25 people that were laid off in a certain department.
Doesn’t sound like much of a blood bath if it still needs to trickle out huh? Also… it’s Wednesday now what?
Some surprising WFR's happened in BOI on Mon. News starting to trickle out.
Another id--t making up claims. Yawn.
It’s Tuesday now what
It’s Monday now what
@OP yes something is happening this week in the U.S. just a gut feeling that’s all.
@ek Yes, but this cannot be done in all countries : France is protected by law, as are Germany, Finland, and a few others worth mentioning. It’s a shame it’s usually the US and UK (though the UK is a hub of high-level 'stoodies', so it's unlikely to be heavily affected by any reductions).
Web Press.
@OP Where? In the UK, we are super safe. Some people are even managing to get big promotions with inflated $$$$.
