It has become a job with non-existent work and life balance because we are forced to do our work along with that of people who were cut or walked out but were never replaced. Of course, we are forced to do all that with raises that are minimal or non-existent and a constant threat of more cuts. If you want a textbook example of an unhealthy work environment, this is it.

Nothing but a bunch of pencil pushers that can't wipe tbeir....That's SF. All talk with a paper a--
@1tci. Who cares what you think? He or she brings up some good points!
@ius….Man, are you ever full of yourself. Same themes, same comments on every thread. And you don’t even seem to recognize how often you contradict yourself.
Old Dominion is hiring line drivers for 86,000.00 per year.
LOL, if you have 3 college degrees those colleges should be sued for malpractice hahahah.
Wait a time with patience. My suggestion: You can do less for more elsewhere. When you go to college, get a degree and two years later start for the nations largest insurer; then, retire after 30 plus years, you realize how they made tons of money off you because my father (who had a 7th grade education) retired with more money than I did doing manual labor. I learned a valuable lesson. These so called educated elites with their degrees (yes I have 3) and their CPCU are good at abusing their grunts for their betterment. SF by far is not what it once was in terms of its corporate morality. We were once a welcomed and respected company in the community, the courthouses, and by government. I can say with reasonable certainty SF is no longer respected in the community nor the courthouses. Even judges no longer want a SF representative in their chambers. If I was a judge, I would want the same thing. Our character and morality has tanked. SF is like the dr-g addict family member that tears apart families. Now they are stuck with a younger generation who sees through all the nonsense and politicization of the workplace. They do not want part of that mess because they don't believe in the brainwashing of leadership. They don't believe they have to "be the right fit" or "fit in" to be successful. They absolutely don't believe in group think. This, I commend them on because it leads them on to bigger and better things. Leadership is naive to not see this and it will cost them dearly both in production and a cohesive work environment. They are too busy trying to look at others rather than capture the uniqueness for the benefit of all. Just wait! It will be a close the door, the horse got out within the next two to three years. Watch!
The first major reorg what some 12-13 years ago when they went to the hub formation..had alot of the veteran workers either left or took buy outs.....they could hire enough folks in the hubs to keep it staffed due to the enormous turn over....then 5-8 years in once they thought it settled down...they didnt rehire positions when folks retired....this has cost them bug time....service levels are rock bottom...most employees I speak too hate their job....and trust me I have been here for more than 35 years and cant wait to leave...it will get worse before it gets better....and the ceo can preach about policy gains all he wants...but the fact is staffing levels are pitiful....
@ejl+1b8YnwD1 I work on my alone all the time too, which is fine I guess. It’s not like I would have a problem talking with anyone internally some more, about whatever, but we’re just all busy and having to put 110% into getting things done. If you know what you’re doing, it’s fine. If you don’t, you’re probably sinking here.
Yeah I no longer really even talk to anyone internally anymore, not even my TM, I know I’m good at what I do I’ve been offered other careers not just by competitors. Even industries we work with our trying to pick up
what’s left over here.
I just do my job and what’s in front of me and watch Rome burn, I’m so unbothered now it’s nice. You aren’t going to change the di-k head ways here of everyone thinks they are smarter.
Probably taking the next offer no questions asked, could care less about a pension.
There have been a few that were able to escape claims and get into an analyst position. I wonder how they were able to leave.
SF motto: GLADLY PAY YOU TOMORROW FOR A HAMBURGER TODAY! Anyone who knows time value of money, won't do that! Wimpee is an insurance agent.
Unless you’re close to retirement, I would suggest you start exploring opportunities elsewhere. Because it’s just going to get worse.
What else is new. They've dumped on people for years and years. When they hired a bunch of people during the .com bo-m, those people left after the first 6 months when they got back from claim school and developed an inventory. Where did you think those inventories went? To the adjusters with tenure to handle. Why do you think the average lifespan of an adjuster after retirement is 3 years? They know what their doing but will never tell you. Remember you are referred to as sc-m, kids, and minions. Tell you something?
