Thread regarding 3M layoffs

How was Q1?

Any sense for how last quarter went? Seeing anything in corporate or plants that gives any indication of how we did, or what to expect next?

The group I'm in has created some openings for full time positions, so they are at least hiring which is a good sign.

It's inappropriate for large companies to be led by fully incompetent and unaccountable leaders, but alas here we are.

This discussion is speculation. Relax Sp---y or we'll call 3M HR and ethics team. They will figure out how 3M did nothing wrong here and identify how this discussion is your fault.

Hey OP, roll the dice and sell some MAY03 PUTS. Go deep in the money.

We're all highly anticipating listening to Mikey exit stage left on April 30th.

Just like all the rest, no matter what happens we will double down on counting paper clips.

Automation with anything that can be automated for more layoffs.

Plants seem to be doing anything that can cut workers (not management) and there has been a huge focus on safety awareness (I can't imagine why). I'd anticipate continuous reasons to terminate workers and no humanity to them in the workplace. 3M just doesn't care anymore. Shareholders and legality expenses is all they care about. Still hiring freezes which tells you the direction of layoffs.
