What are the most successful jobs that Ford employees did while working from home at Ford?

La Shish Business Development - he built a business from scratch while working at Ford. He used to park the La Shish company van at building 4 when he made some deliveries in the beginning.
Handyman/skilled trade Home Renovation - he built a couple of houses. One right next to MPG and you could see him working on it occasionally when going to the proving ground.
Boat Renovation - he renovates boats all summer. Doesn’t even sign in many weeks at a time.
Real Estate Agent - he works full time as a real estate agent and shows properties all day.
Photographer - she runs a complete photography business out of her home. A TWA employee has been milking it for years while building a very big business. She does the Quality data processing her boss wants every reporting period so this has been good enough for years. Other people that were actually working the same area were laid off.
Thrift Store Reseller of books - he buys book from the thrift store and resells on Amazon everyday all on Ford’s time. Brags that he makes more on books than engineering.
Babysitter - watching the kids all day/everyday.

Are you talking about that guy that evaded taxes, skimmed 20 million and then fled to Lebanon while being accused of funneling money to a certain Iranian proxy group?

Yep. Seen many cases over the years. The one common denominator is the person’s boss always let it go. There has always been different rules for different folks. Just the way ford has always worked

I've been working 2 jobs over the last year. It's been busy but worth it and I have been able to save a lot of money for retirement. The peace of mind the extra savings has given me is priceless. During the day I do my ford work and after hours I am an exotic dancer. Not everyone can do it but I workout a lot and have a great body.

If you think this was unique to the WFH era....

Two decades ago I had frequent meetings with a guy who was always stepping out to talk to contractors building his car wash.

There are legends of someone working two jobs, one under his and one under his wife's ssn, and of a person who got nailed when Chrysler security wondered why one of our M plates was in their lot as an employee double dipped at both firms.
