There's plenty of posters who haven't flip-flopped on Vicki - at least not since May 2019.
The APC fiasco is a testament to incompetence and nothing has changed in the six years since to invlidate that assessment.
Yes. That is called a probability distribution of an output variable. In this case people’s feeling about future expectations is the output. This output is likely a strong function of oil price but could also be a function of expectations about work from home, quality of the holiday party or whether Vicki smiles more than frowns.
I love how the posters on this site completely flip-flop on Vicki. During the early days of Covid, when OXY's stock price tanked below $10.00 / share, people were calling her the most incompetent CEO in history. Then later during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, oil approached $100 barrel and OXY stock climbed to over $70 / share, people on here were calling her brilliant and her acquisition of Anadarko was brilliant. Perfect 20-20 "hindsight vision".
@de+1jrgwcw8v, maybe you’re exaggerating a bit? She may not be Mother Teresa, but she’s not Marie Antoinette.
You guys have no idea atrocities she committed . Down right criminal! She didn’t even spare elementary kids of her enemies.
Victory has a thousand fathers, but defeat is an orphan.
you meant she thinks she is important. real leaders don’t act that way that’s why she is and was a miserable failure
She’s a tough cookie. I can remember when she came in and talked to us and I was like who is this person. Her message was my way or the highway. Again who is this person was what as going on in my brain. This was right before Steve retired. Then it made sense. Oh, she is important.
Empathy? You don’t know her record. More like karma.
Vicki is very nice and treats the employees well. For sure it would break her heart to step down due to circumstances beyond her control. Let’s have some empathy.
