Saving the company is not an employee responsibility, it's that of the high paid few which history will judge accordingly. People are paid to do the jobs they are hired for. The executives are paid to decide if that is enough and adjust. Management is there is direct the effort.
chat are we cooked?
Why would you care about saving this train wreck of a company ? who cares what happens to Ford, it's obvious that management wants to put it out of business and BOD and shareholders don't care, so why should anyone ?

BF in legacy mode? How can you say that with a straight face! BF put DF in charge of the most critical and important aspects of the future of the company, Model e. For that is far far from "legacy".
CONWAY!
I mean they have to want to save themselves. I think BF is completely in legacy mode and does not have his eye on the ball for the future and JF is not leading a united company forward to fix the many problems listed above. People are disillusioned with the low cost country hiring and lack of authority to truly innovate.
@cz+1jhgsx4db "the board of misdirectors"
LOL, so true...
Fix these 7 problems first, which will take 10 to 20 years.
Poor quality, unattractive, unreliable, outdated, inefficient, safety recalls, expensive.
Hire some serious people like a real engineer to run the company with the understanding that Bill Ford and the board of misdirectors stay out of his way for 2 years minimum. Mullaly was the model, but I also remember Don Peterson who brought Ford back from the grave with QUALITY working with Dr. Demming. There have been a few others, but the real winners were the ones who didn't talk about fixing quality like Farley (fartly:) but actually fixed it! They also brought back the engineering animal spirits and unleased new products, not a small refresh of a diminishing product line year after year (Yawn)
Take accountability first through fixing past wrongs . Without someone holding u too
If you put half of the effort into staffing programs properly compared to the teams of people assigned to TVM, quality would improve.
The leadership of this company is way too reactionary to get ahead.
Drain the management swamp.
JF, is that you??
Replace the entire BoD. Then replace BF with literally anyone else. Next Fire JF and replace him with someone competent. Then start replacing the senior management where needed and work your way down. Fire most, if not all of the H1B visa army and replace them with former Ford employees who were fired to make way for them.
Next, drastically cut spending in Model-e and move those people to working on ICE vehicles. Have them work on improving quality and developing improved vehicles which include a mid-sized car. Sell the train station and use that money towards more vehicle programs.
I’m sure there’s more, but that will get you started.
starts at the top.. Board and senior management.. They set the tune,,, Vision and plan,,,
