@2fqk Take your insurance licensing and use it in the bathroom. It is just exactly the same the government mandating "The Fair Claims Practices Act." Don't you understand the government and insurance companies sleep in the same bed? Power corrupts and absolute power absolutely corrupts.

Outsourcing cellular services is one thing….insurance regulations and needing to be licensed in most states is another thing….

@1hpj+1cVHoNEX Same here in my department, I can understand the accent just from nature, but my god I can’t believe they force them to try and speak without it. It’s 100 times worse.

I’ve also noticed an influx of Philippines accents from OIC’s. A lot of American companies are out sourcing to Manila. They pay pennies on the dollar for labor compared to here. The Philippines peso is practically worthless. For 1 American dollar you can pay someone essentially half a days work.

Every time I take a call from an Indian person using a fake American name calling from Allstate to “check the status” of 10 claims that were denied multiple times, I wonder what the fück is going on over there at Allstate.

Consumers want the lowest price possible and if it costs someone’s job they don’t give a rip. Sure, there is an expectation of some level of service but they will be more forgiving of that than a high price.

@dzk...29 years and yes that is the whole point of the post! LOL! Making fun of SF's constant cost cutting and bringing in id--ts to continue ruin SF...SF has a spreadsheet/flow-chart somewhere...fire everyone and eventually just leave....CEO, CFO and 3-4 people to turn on/off the robots or call the robot repair man...don't take yourself so seriously. Now.... when all the companies outsourced or AI/robot... most jobs out of existence, they are going to stand around and ask themselves why they have no one to buy their products! Hire another consulting firm!!! Ha Ha!!!!

@det I'm not at all defending SF's treatment of employees. I'm just stating that SF doesn't care about its employees' well-being so employees need to start looking out for themselves instead of hoping one day things will get better.

You are correct in part of your argument that SF is is all about cutting cost and operating lean to insure it future success. But but being too lean and at the same time demoralizing and overworking employees can also be detrimental to success. It's a balance act on a tightwire and this circus is about to pack it in.

OP, how long have you been working for SF? You need to wake up and see that all of the changes that have been occuring over the past decade is because SF is trying to cut costs and reduce staffing as much as possible. Employee salaries and benefits are any company's greatest expense. Have you heard SF use the phrase 'working lean'? All of the push for automation and extreme micromanagement is the company's way to cut costs. If a company is able to cut costs by outsourcing, you better believe they are going to do so. People that still believe SF is looking out for them need to wake up and realize that the company is moving forward; likely without you. There is no loyalty anymore. The company is concerned about the company's success, not the success if its employees. People need to realize this and start making career plans in their own best interest.

Bringing in outside executives to run the Bank and ET were terrible decisions by any fair measure. But SF needs a person willing to axe thousands of jobs with no second thoughts. What better person to do it than someone who has no ties to the people or the culture the company used to have. And when he has completed their dirty work, they can just send him packing. It isn’t a bad move for what they need this person to do.
