The nonsense will continue until the system fully breaks. Then it gets real.
I believe that day is coming soon.
The desperation from the debt slaves is getting nasty.
Inflation, layoffs, debt, high interest rates and taxes ... Regular folks that don't make GM dream salaries are broken.

"From DEI blaming to HB1 blaming lol no one is focusing real issue"

That is exactly the real issue.
The cultures don't mix.
The standard of living in the country has dropped like a rock once you came in large numbers. A few is fine and is a drop in the bucket. Their behavior can be mollified.
How many folks see groups that consist only of chinese or only of indians. Or there are indians all the way to the corporate top. White su-kers say hire by merit. Indians say hire only Indians. What do you think the end result of this is going to be. The 37 trillion in national debt say it is an utter failure.

"If it's really about talent shortages, companies would be happy to pay MORE for h1bs than Americans"

what talent?
there really are no successful companies in those countries
no one goes to their 'universities'
no one uses any of their 'new' math or science since there is none
no one is trying to get into their countries
no one is emulating/taking their art or music

(maybe small countries like Japan or Taiwan get a small pass but they aren't
coming to the US in droves)

lets face it, the US is being sold out by the corrupt skillless clowns on the top

" Farm worker?"

It's funny that the same people who talk a big game about equity look down at farm workers and people who work the trades while also frowning on H1B workers because it threatens their cushy office jobs.

It's funny that the same people who want to deport illegal aliens who are doing crummy jobs that no American wants like farm worker or sla-ghterhouse worker also want to expand the H1B system to bring in more foreigners to take the good high level jobs that Americans do want to do.

So what jobs will be available to Americans if you get what you want?

Farm worker?

If it's really about talent shortages, companies would be happy to pay MORE for h1bs than Americans

Make sure h1bs get paid the going rate instead of the current lowball salaries, AND make companies pay twice that salary to the US government annually. So h1bs would cost 3 times what an American worker costs, every year.

The annual government fee would be used to enforce the rules and salaries, and to train Americans to backfill those positions.

Right now companies are legally required to pay the going rate, and they "attest" that they do, just like they attest that the h1bs are so highly skilled that none of the 350 million Americans can do the job, but there's no verification or enforcement.

So companies lie and get away with it for the cheap labor.

Make companies decide if the h1bs are needed so badly that they'll pay the cost premium. Let them put their money where their mouths are.

My you seem a bit naive. You really think H1-B workers get paid the same as a US worker? Look at how Chrysler has used them as low cost contract workers for some time. It’s all about keeping wages down. This rhetoric about finding skilled workers may apply to some select jobs but it’s mostly about cost.

As far as the green-card workers are concerned, as long as they pay taxes and are paid a fair wage, we should all rest assured that everything will balance out.
Legal migration and H-1B visa workers should be embraced. It's what America is all about.
If you are threatened by this, you need to level up your own skills and presentation.
