Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Parking Congestion Around PDC and AEC

seems like a fire hazard. Fire trucks won't be able to get through to put out EV fires the way people are parking.

Maybe Ford needs a stern letter from the Dearborn Fire Department.

@cn The parking garage next to AEC has enough capacity to cover the not-in-a-spot cars between PDC and AEC. Whether that's fair to have to walk an extra few minutes or not is certainly debatable.

@ea

Nothing needs to 'be done'. Ford will collapse on its own.

@e9 what are u gonna do about it?

"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the FCGs, and I did not speak out—because I was not an FCG.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

@dt

Ford fabricated this problem to stress people out.

Ford is a terrible company.

@cd

"YOU ARE ILLEGALLY PARKED " stickers are being placed on many vehicles at AEC.

So Ford is now back to vandalizing employee vehicles over a problem Ford intentionally caused.

Ford Motor is a 'family' only in the domestic abuse way.

The plan is to fire until these problems are gone.

Good luck to all.

Here's the thing, if you get Dearborn Fire involved, then Ford Security will be forced to address the issue. That means they'll start towing vehicles, instead of leaving mean notes on windshields. Ultimately, that means punishing other employees for a problem Ford created.

This then means RTO initiatives are working. Leadership made the right calls on this.

@b7 rides in like a Marvel post-credit scene “FEAR NOT, mere mortal! There’ll be an underground Bat-cave with bubble-tea kiosks and climate-controlled catwalks. You’ll be inside before your EV can finish combusting".

@a6

Yes as there are plans for a multi level underground parking garage and plaza. Vehicle to office walk is completely indoors. Plaza could have retail and food space.

Is there going to be enough parking for everyone once the HUB is done and we are all required to report there?

Remember those couple years when Ford Security were deputized to write parking tickets?
