Same old, same old. 99% of Americans stem from immigrants. Still xenophobia has always been high. First blacks, then Chinese, Irish, Italians, Greeks, Mexicans, ... and now H1B workers. They take ALL the jobs! When in fact they create jobs.

I am working with h1b services based people for long.
Here is my observation

Have gone around schwab and seen the composition of Onsite people from h1b?
Why they are from single region?
Why They are from belong to 3 states of India in south.
Why Other region people are given chances?
I have never seen any person N.E of India, and other parts from West and North are Seems to be DEI hire, for name shake.

Those who never take a course, never develop new skills, do the same job for a decade, do not want to change when the world does, and expect to be treated like royalty with life long

Which is not a country but Assembly line of temp worker, replacing each other, at given movement of time.

H1b and Other temp workers will replace all employee who are fte.
Since we have becomes NATION of renters
Soon we will become NATION of Temp workers, like Assembly line.
You will replace some one NOW, and in Future Some one will replace you, an circus continues :)

The world where the company took care of you, if you just showed up for work, and life-long employment was the norm, is long gone.

The business environment changes fast, companies need to change as fast to stay relevant. This means that workers have to change and adapt to stay relevant. If they do not take responsibility, and stay educated on the latest, they will get replaced.
