@f2 yea it’s a weird move. I remember being a young persons thing. They retooled it and repurposed it and we-ponized to take older folks. It’s sneaky as fu-k tactic

@dp IBM started a long and ugly decline starting 4-1-93 when the G Man Gerstner came in and lit on fire the IBM Basic Beliefs that Watson Sr and Jr masterfully used for 57 years as CEOs. Here is IBM/Arvind's reply summarized by AI. IBM is a dumpster fire that treats employees like snow shovels that are disposed of every 2-3 years.

In response to the December 2023 leaked video released by James O'Keefe, which showed IBM CEO Arvind Krishna discussing the use of diversity targets for executive bonuses, IBM and its leadership took the following positions:

Defended Hiring Practices: CEO Arvind Krishna stated that there was "nothing illegal" about IBM's hiring practices or the use of diversity targets, despite allegations to the contrary.

Admitted to "Diversity Modifiers": The video showed Krishna stating that managers would lose part of their bonuses if they did not meet specific diversity targets (increasing representation of underrepresented groups).

"Thick Skin" Response: Krishna acknowledged the "firestorm" created by the video on X (formerly Twitter) but indicated he had "thick skin" regarding the backlash.

Connection to X Ads: Krishna related the controversy to IBM's decision to pull advertisements from X (owned by Elon Musk), citing concerns about where their ads were appearing.

IBM's maniacal focus on WOKE + DEI for recruiting, hiring, promoting is all right here in this 12 minute leaked video of IBM CEO Arvind Krishna and Red Hat Chairman getting caught discussing breaking US Civil Rights Laws Title VII from 1964 with quotas and executive bonus's set based on certain perecentages of IBM employees being a certain color, race or s-x etc. Gross stuff. In India they have a caste system. In the US we do not. God Bless America.

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects employees and job applicants against employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, s-x (including pregnancy, s-xual orientation, and gender identity), and national origin. It applies to employers with 15 or more employees, covering hiring, firing, promotions, harassment, and retaliation.

So glad to see IBM synergistically leveraging the augmentation of junior talent with AI wisdom. Sure to make a big splash. A real game changer. All that's missing is a big shiny name like Human AI Quantum Leap to give all the executive crooks a big bo--r.

@OP, and where are these new clients going to materialize from for the junior talent to engage ? Thin air ? This sounds just like the garbage about IBM's goodwill a few years ago. Talk is cheap.

Yes seeing a lot of new hires. But not a lot of one certain demographic. It’s peculiar.
