If none of us comply with the 4-day RTO, they can't fire us all. It's really that simple.

Sounds just like a movie I once watched. Ants.. yeah let's do it! Ha!
I have so much schadenfreude knowing all you people that claim you won’t comply with RTO ultimately will be in the office.
@dd No, we won’t be resigning.
@av Put on your big boy pants and go to the office or resign.
Um..yeah....think you have some valor pops? Whatever gets you to sleep at night. No one cares, you did you.
Wow! Super impressed over your claim to have never had Covid.
Guess what? I remain WFH and also have never had Covid. So now what?
Anyway, boomer. You are retired so this is out of scope for you. Worry more about your current situation. Aren't there some nearby boots in need of a good licking?
@a3 That’s the way. Make it a game. Everyone show up to the same building bring a lawn chair and power banks and sit in the hallways and every open area. Park in the reserved execs spots and in the grass and clog up neighborhood side streets. Choose a building where higher ups are in residence. When they tell you to move to another building rinse and repeat. Make it the leaderships problem to solve.
@ac chill daddy this isn’t the frontlines. The office isn’t some magical place where amazing work happens. There’s no Medal of Honor for giving your time up to commuting to make middle managers content.
Unbelievable. I'm a retiree and a former field employee. I returned to the office, 5 days a week on January 2nd 2021! Guess what ? I have never had COVID.
It’s what I’ve been saying all along. It’s very expensive and a massive headache to replace one employee, let alone a huge number of people. Don’t submit to the nonsense.
I've heard the Ford Labbies are exempt from this, join them.
Look on linkedin how many positions are been opened across tech industry in Canada, India Brazil etc they are hiring massively all work has been going out at much faster rate due to economic instability and immigration concerns. The show is over go back to farming, mining and drilling.
If you think quality is bad now, replace all the US based engineering with overseas. US based engineering is the only reason our vehicles make it to the dealers right now. From what I see, all quality issues and plant shutdowns are due to mistakes from our engineering counterparts overseas.
Children children....we are currently reviewing policy for employees whom will not report to the office for work as they should. Yes we have stated consequences will be "up to and including termination", and that still applies. However Ford leadership has noted immediate termination of an employee will take some of the fun out of management's and HR's taunting of the GSRs.
With that, we will be introducing a new mandatory after-hours detention/study hall period for those that are lacking in their required badge swipes. Employees can use this time for work or completing training but it does not qualify for paid overtime.
Public school policys have been a model for our new Ford RTO effort.
Thx.
Ford Mgmt and HR
Better still - ALL comply, ALL go in ALL on the same day and see what chaos there is when there are not enough parking spaces, not enough desks, not enough meeting spaces and not enough food in the canteens….
I’m not complying. I’ll not be je-ked around for no reason.
Wanna bet? They can and will. It's about LCCs. They'd love to replace us all with workers in China, India, Mexico, and Brazil.
Plus you'll never get a majority to not comply. Which will make it even easier for them.
