Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Chapman next CEO?

Sure looks like the board is doing all the can to keep him here and happy based on the 8-k filing.

Effective January 1, 2022, the annual salary of N. A. Chapman, Senior Vice President, will increase to $1,100,000. This represents an increase of 15% and is the result of the Committee’s assessment of performance and relative position with external benchmarking companies.

@dBmgt+1e6WTyK8 Exactly this, it's an American corporation run like every corporate, for the benefit of the shareholder. Move along, nothing to see here. Just say yes and don't ever suggest any alternate perspective. That only leads to NSI.

you guys talk like it matters who the CEO is. No difference, nothing will change, culture will still be the same

Chapman is a nasty piece of work.
Had the unfortunate experience of working with him 20 years ago.
Keep clear.

There are two KM’s that could take the job. Most likely the KM that has been given 186,400 RSU shares in that past 3.5 months. Anyone deserving over $11.5 million for 3.5 months of work must be CEO material.

Chapman has been Heir Apparent for several years now. I really like him and think he would at least be a breath of fresh air. As for a female CEO personally I think LD and KM both would be great.

Chapman Another Brit, and a buddy of Woods from Eurooe, got way too many of them. Would be another Woods clone. Look at the Downstream being run by Elmer Fudd, how is that organization working out, disaster.

NC is European and non-Republican, so he is not qualified for the job. It is time for EM to have a woman CEO. Vote for KM!

Neil chapman is by far the most talented and charismatic of the lot of them. However he is not American so he would never be accepted. Darren Woods needs to leave. The Board are asleep again; oil price high does not equal success
