I see questions on this so here it goes, the severance is 3 weeks per 1 year of experience

When I was laid off severance was 60 Days WARN + 2 weeks per year of service + 1 week per 20k of salary. When did that change?
@d7 The "find a job" is reference to the option of 90 days to find a job "within Walmart", so they will know. It has nothing to do with finding a new job externally, which would equate to running out the 90 days. Not finding a job internal to Walmart, will kick off the severance payout.
I've been told, if you apply for jobs internally, and you are offered a position, even one in a lower pay band and/or for less pay, and you do not accept, you will forfeit your severance. If you do accept the new job, you will not be immune to any upcoming layoffs, or restructurings, and if you are impacted again, you will not be offered the previous severance.
@d6 how would they know if you got a new job?
Is the 3 wk/1 year severance starting after the 90 days to find a new job or part of the total calculation? My understanding was if I find a job in the next 90 days, I do not get severance but if I don’t, then I get severance. I couldn’t pay attention and was told to take the rest of the day off did I missed the meeting they sent out for next steps.
Any WARN compensation?
With a max at 40 weeks.
Yep, unfortunatelly.
