@2r7 It's a devilish name.

@1k7 it looks like the "name" was "Lu----r".

@1j3 Why are you blanking out a name, you don't own them anything.

I was impacted by Kite. My boss of several years, Lu----r, just added HR and read off of a script.

@w2 better wait until at least February to retire IF you make it that long. They won’t put our matched funds into the 401k until probably the last paycheck in February. I would want every penny coming to me!

@d5 My meeting was scheduled 3 weeks ago. No HR on the invite at all. Just my manager noted as a 1:1. Then join the call and there is HR. BS

@13z I’ve heard the severance package is laughable at best… and they look for any reason not to give it to you but that may not be true.

I would say that if you're looking to retire in the next 12 months, hold on. Might get a nice severance package on the way out.

@bp I'm disappointed once again I didn't get an unexpected mtg request. I'm ready to take a lay-off but sadly I'm billable to a client till at least Dec 2025. I have no motivation or get any joy from working here. I hate to see younger folks than me get let go who are leaving with so much knowledge. I'm thinking Jan 2nd I'll be retiring if I don't let laid off soon.

We had a number of individual contributor level layoffs this morning in our office.

Anyone know if this Project Kite is limited to a region or global?

Ugh, so many people have meetings this morning that were not scheduled yesterday.

Rumours on Glassdoor suggest that these sweeping cuts are due to a possible acquisition by VISA which requires the workforce to be cut down to 35K first.

Never good when the call has a special guest from the TPO office welcoming you to the call.

Donating plasma does not effect your unemployment compensation payout.
