Ford UK Endless Transformation cuts, until nothing is left

Ford UK’s endless cycle of ‘transformation’ cuts is a mask for mismanagement at the highest level—led by donkey leadership that keeps swinging the axe without a clue. Instead of real vision or strategy, we get knee-je-k cost-cutting that demoralizes staff, damages the brand, and sends the business in circles. It’s time to call it what it is: failure dressed up as change.

The UK design team is slow. Been that way for years. Company like slate has way too much speed than the layers in this onion

Farley, losing global market share since he joined Ford in 2009 as VP Marketing.
Thankfully his contract expires in October.
Shareholders and employees hope Bill Ford doesn’t renew it.
He might, he’s that clueless.

The EU emission penalties and the ambitious EU BEV transformation schedule have made the Ford leadership believe that from 2030 on Britain and EU will be electric wonderland. The were planning to make Ford EU a leader of this transformation. They launched BEV and stopped making new cars with combustion engines... and they failed. No one wants to buy their BEV while selling more cars with combustion engines would mean billions of penalties. Sooner or later the EU Ford dealer network will implode due to a lack of new products. Congratulations FNA, you just lost another continent (after South America, China and India)!

German Ford always do over British Ford, after decades we get to hear FNA covered all German Ford losses. Incompetent leaders ruined Fiesta Focus Kuga Mondeo everything when led from Britian small vehicles were solid, they stole that work British heads got fired now they want Transit - no damn way hands off it is 60 years of UK Transit, it is time to shut down Ford Germany and send the corrupt British leaders to Germany.

Many UK and Aachen friends/colleagues were canned under Hatchet and Fartley. Then they targeted FNA. Now jobs are in LCC. All to invest in BEV failure. 😡

This is just a continuation of the struggles between Germany and UK. It is a politics, not a product, discussion. WWII never ends over there.

The “Smart Mobility Innovation Office” London should be transformed into empty space. It is mainly used for the general manager of security and safety services to accumulate frequent flyer miles and hotel points for family vacations. Hopefully Mike Aragon formerly of lululemon doesn’t get on this gravy train.
