With the acquisition of Lexmark, now is a good ptime for a Spending Freeze. Don't replace the people who understood the ship is sinking and quit. They are losers anyway. Work smarter, not harder. Wait, work smarter and harder! If you are in Manufacturing thank God the demand has gone down. If you are Sales, you should be happy you can pick up your coworkers territories. Service, well, su-k it up. The rest of you (exempting Corporate) are HCL so you don't count.

Keep in mind the spending freeze is to ensure there is enough money for one more CEO Club?

I heard this yesterday. Supposedly we’re not going to pay our bills, vendors, buyouts, coffee, no new hires, no raises. Should be very interesting to see how this plays out if true.
