After working for Gainwell for 2.5 years, I was just laid off due to WFR at a very unfortunate time.

@nm good one!
Well, they warned us that AI was going to take our jobs but it’s not the AI they told us about.
- AI = another Indian
@j8 tiara that’s literally almost everyone. 🤣
Every time I see an Indian name pop up I roll my eyes and ignore them
I'm sorry for everyone, especially the folks who worked hard and still got laid off. Your managers failed you. Who would have thought that Medicaid, of all IT markets, would have been outsourced to India. Well, considering the head of Veritas is a rich Indian guy, it shouldn't be hard to figure out, well.... DUH!!!!!!
I hope Bloomberg finds out the states didn't expressly approve this to be done and shuts the whole thing down. The smart and hardworking people will still be needed for whatever falls out.
The whole point is to lower costs to become attractive to a buyer but imagine when they find out 50% of their critical staff is in India.
@bz :))))))
It's time for all of us to start contacting state and federal lawmakers. They are hiding their India activity from everyone. Try JD Vance, he's from Ohio and has been fighting to keep jobs out of India.
Bloomberg had another story today that shows just how bad things are.

@cy if they add an Indian to the team, someone’s is getting cut shortly thereafter. They hire about 6 months before to get them up to speed and then fire and give them your title.
Why are you guys surprised the Indian executives are sending more of our jobs to India?
Happening for us too. 1 of my mexican(juarez) colleagues and 2 onshore WFRd. Weird because we just had 3 indians join the team.
What was your job title? What account?
@bz I bet they moonlight. The person that replaced me is always trying to recruit tech people so obviously he has 2 jobs going at the same time. If we did that, we’d be gone as soon as they found out.
Get yourself a job at an Indian call center.. With a swivel of a chair, you can be technical support one moment and an i.R.S. agent threatening old people the next.
Job market is absolutely TERRIBLE. Experience, degrees, certifications-doesn’t matter. That won’t even look at you as there’s so many applicants. GL!
@OP By the way, I worked onshore.
