So is ibm down to laying off young died wood since the dinosaurs are gone.
for the worst in adult entertainment, nothing beats the IBM clown show on w3
Arvind and his direct reports should describe their approach to strategic decision making on one of the town hall meetings. It might be interesting or then again, not so interesting
"IBM is a trader's stock rather than an investor's stock. That means that buy and sell decisions are largely based on technicals and price action rather than by fundamentals (what the company is actually worth according to prospectus, balance sheet and other tangible qualities)."
Yeah, there is no investment/commitment long term. It is just based on predicting the rise and falls of the stock locally in time. One cannot do new science or engineering in a few days. It's Fast Food Restaurant stock now.
@OP+1jkb2en5m You sound like a perfect fit for IBM. Your comment says more about you than anyone else.

Fire some people via RA's? Price drops a bit, followed by immediate buying...then price jumps...followed by some selling and profit-taking. Price drops again. Rinse and repeat.
"I ain't going to get lai off... trust me on that one. You are the fool!"
If you are in the media department, you most certainly will be.

Just wait until you yourself are laid off, "clown."
Ibm is a sinking ship and always will be. They got losers at the top.
Me too... more layoffs please... still too many people doing cr-p at IBM and dragging the results down. Go AK/JK... do you magic!
