You can work nights, weekends, and give PepsiCo everything you have, but when the time comes, they’ll let you go without a second thought. The praise won’t protect you, you can be 100% certain of that. Hustle culture is not noble. It’s just exploitation with applause, nothing else.

Pepsico became a sick toxic company, and the internal toxic culture is taking its toll on the PEP consumer brands! you cannot sustain a positive brand image forever when you treat your employees badly!
That's every job. They will discard you. The only person you can advocate for, is you.
Took the vrp. After 34 years working round the clock and holidays as an ADMINISTRATOR, I was given pizza on my way out the door. And then call me for answers because they don't know how to "do my job" even after I trained my backup. Get lost. I will never let another of their toxic junk touch my lips. A little respect from that evil bunch could have gone a long way with my "assistance in questions". Good riddance

"Everybody knows this" Not true. I worked with someone for years and he was laid off after his entire department was outsourced. He worked for them as a contractor until he was hired back on as a FTE for PepsiCo. I told him to stop being so loyal and don't go above and beyond, they'll burn you again. He refused to listen thinking once again, this was going to give him the advantage. He was given the boot a few years later.
@cw they keep piling up on North America resources but their Indian gods do di-kall. Imagine when some were visiting and were complaining why don't we get free drinks or snacks ...

b of 2 people as a payroll admin for Frito. I got a 1% raise this year. They expect me to have teams and my email on my personal phone, 21 years with the company and I still refuse to check mu email on weekends/vacations. I just survived the latest round of layoffs, part of me was hoping to be let go and get my severance package. 10 of us let go and they have to work until mid September
