Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

I think attrition has reached a new time high

Leadership acts like turnover is normal, but it’s all the good people leaving. The ones left are either checked out or drowning. But sure, let’s pretend it's nothing but “natural attrition.”

Everything here is by design, if Tom was conferenced then everyone else would pretend to be concerned. Attrition is not a priority here.

You forgot lowballing claims and baiting and switching customers.

Because turnover is their business model. Has been for as long I've been here. Rather than actually make the company more efficient but cutting waste and red tape--thus stepping on some middle management strap hangers' sacred turf--their answer has consistently been to raise premiums and lay people off. That's their go to play. Every single year, some times multiple times. Middle management keeps them in the dark about what's really happening and those sweet, sweet bonus checks keep rolling in so they don't give a sh-t.

Instead of "You're In Good Hands" perhaps they should change the company's motto to "Ignorance is Bliss."

No wonder. Boss takes the credit for your work but you get blamed when sh-t goes sideways.

Allstate brass will never admit that they are wrong or lacking. Big time ego complexes with those l-wlifes.
