If JF is so smart how come hired Doug ford and what does this execution say about Henry fords legacy?

JF has initiated and overseeing the single largest transformation Ford has ever done in its history with the Ford+ Plan. How in the world can you say that is nothing or not a success? It's all about positioning the company for the future of mobility, something our competitors are not doing and it will bite them soon enough.
@cz+1jq86rd1d are you referring too the same BF that was fired by his own family in the spring of 06? Sorry BF nice guy but in way over his head. To say that Jim (I am the smartest man in the room just ask) Farley is in the same league as a Alan Mullaly or Bob Lutz is an insult to those leaders. Jim I know every thing Farley has not delivered any exiting product. People hate him. Please tell us what success has he delivered in his tenure at Ford? People really want to know??
Please do not list things that were already planed and all he did was add paint and takes credit. Sorry but the BOD and Senior management team are a circus. They just lost the #1 selling vehicle. That was under Mr. Know It All.. Tired of you posting BS like this. The company is falling apart .. Nobody even knows what they are suppose to do because there is no Plan or vision.
As for Doug Fields sorry that professional job hopper he needs to go.. He is no Bob Lutz he is a political animal...Need for the press and Wall street to hold these people accountable and start asking tough questions. Quality is in the toilet but you keep pushing BS like TVM.. Ford had the quality process in place but that was not good enough. well look what happened.

You are incorrect. Bill Ford himself had stated that the current Ford leadership team is the very best that the company has ever had. You can extend that to the BOD if you like.
Both have positioned Ford for the future, even if there is some minor challenges on the way. There is a good reason Model e was separated from the rest of the company.
